I got this beautiful cap a few weeks ago after a call from my local paper adds. Untouched Belgian WW2 overseas cap in worn condition complete with (its often missing) black tassle. The cap is brown orange piped and has a gladiator helmet pin pierced through the cap. What makes this cap special is ofcourse the full diary of Korporaal Omer Verpoort who served in the 40ste Regiment Onderrichtingsbataljon, Transmissietroepen, 2e TG.S.E. during the German invasion in 1940. This grouping came direclty from the family and was never in a collection before!
