Stunning ‘out-of-the-woodwork’ M36 pattern (Heeres) army Feldbluse for a Der Spiess Oberfeldwebel of Artillerie-Regiment 7. It was only when taking pictures of this untouched jacket I noticed it had buttons placed under the collar to wear a Knights Cross. Based on the medal loops on the left chest, this man was highly decorated. All insignia are original to the jacket and remain untouched. Unfortunately, the jacket suffered from a moth attack, but this can easily be covered with equipment. The overall condition is still good and the jacket looks really neat on a mannequin or torso. Dated 1940 and having a large 96 size chest. I deem that fully identifying the identity of the bearer would most certainly merit further investigative work.
