I found this jacket myself a couple of weeks ago in Hessen, Germany. It was totaly untouched and the insignia were still in the bottom pocket! I had it professionally restored and you can’t realy tell, but I took pictures before because this was just so nice comming out of the woodwork like this. The jacket is a classic late war M43 pattern army feldbluse executed in Italian captured gabardine. It is dated 1944 and maker marked with a RBNr. It was promoted to NCO (Feldwebel) of an Artillerie-Regiment. The collar tabs were placed above the standard ones, that are still present underneath! A flatwire breast eagle was added because the Feldwebel at that time found this more appealing. This eagle was removed due POW regualtions in 1945 but was restored on the same stiching marks, same goes for the drivers badge on the left sleeve. The right sleeve has some damages and looks like some blood staining next to these holes. A beautiful – documented and restored – M43 army feldbluse!
