M18 transitional army (Heer) double decal ‘apple green’ steel helmet

Very early brush painted apple green M18 WW1 reissued steel helmet. These brush painted examples are very early dating back to 1934 in my opinion. The helmet is complete with both decals, showing nice aging and patina. The army decal is a classic re-issue example with green lines. The liner is an original example, dated 1940 and is replaced in the helmet. The leather remains supple and strong, it looks like a restored Norwegian example. Maybe a suitable aluminum liner would make this helmet look more stunning than it already is. Shell size 62 for a 54/55 liner. Beautiful early army helmet!
