WW1 reissued M1916 steel helmet for the German army (Heer). Single decal example, mid war assembly. Helmet remains in good condition and shows light wear. Complete with liner, size 57. The leather remains supple and strong. Aluminum liner band dated 1939. The helmet decal is a classic Pocher made example, that is often found on these transitional helmets. Maker marked shell by St, size 66.
