DLV dagger ‘Fliegermesser’ by F.&A. Helbig

Description

Well preserved and early constructed DLV (Deutscher Luftsportverband) dagger in good condition. Maker marked on the blade by F&A. Helbig GAEFLER Steinbach. The inlet of the scabbard has a DLV acceptance stamp and the side of the crossguard is marked with the letther K and numbered 209. All parts are made of nickel silver and are in stunning – untouched and uncleaned – condition. One of the swastika’s shows enamel damage. The tip of the blade lost a bit of sharpness. Blue leather is complete and shows minmal wear. Great untouched DLV dagger!
