Army (Heer) Pionier officers visor cap ‘Schirmmütze’

Description

Desirable and hard to find black piped officer visor for a Pionier (Pionieer) officer. Executed in fine doeskin wool. Original applied national insignia executed in bullion are visible on the front of the cap, showing matching patina. The visor has a great saddle shape and salty look. The lining is missing the sweat band, but otherwise it all looks good. A nice “been-there” officer visor cap.
