Army (Heer) infantry officers visor ‘Schirmmütze’ by Hermann Potthoff ‘Frischluft’

Rare and desirable army officer cap made by HPC (Hermann Potthoff, Coesfeld). This manufacturer patented the Frischluft system, a sytem where 6 ventialtion holes are present behind the cocarde, making sure your head had fresh air or in German ‘Frische Luft’ (Frishluft). Erel had a similar system with one vent hole. The cap remains in very good condition and has its original insignia pierced through the front of the cap. The white infantry piping shows normal ageing and patina. There are no major damages or visible moth holes. A very nice cap, that still retains its sexy saddle form. Size +-56.
