M42 Schutzpolizei Feldbluse with Volkssturm collar tabs

Very attractive M42 pattern police jacket in good condition. Original applied sleeve eagle on the left side in zig-zag stitching. I bought this jacket without the collar tabs attached as they were removed by the previous owner because he didn’t know what it was. But it was obvious these tabs belonged to the tunic as no sandglass shapes from normal police tabs were visble, only these rectangular shapes, and only that area showed ‘fresh wool’. So i decided to restore them as it was. I still don’t know what it is, but it is some sort of special department of the Schutzpolizei. The jacket is in very good condition and shows minimal signs of wear. It is size and maker marked inside but the stampings are a bit faded.

Update 10/04/22: A collector was so kind to inform me this is a late war Volkssturm tunic with this configuration.
