M40 Luftwaffe single decal steel helmet hkp64

Interesting mid war produced M40 pattern Luftwaffe helmet in good condition. The decal on the left side still shows sharp details and is over 80% intact. The exterior sand mixed paint is typical for this manufacturer (SE/hkp). I got this helmet trough a good friend in USA who got it directly out of the woodwork at a veterans estate. The helmet is complete with its original liner, full lenght (unmarked) chin strap and draw string. The leather is complete and supple but feels a bit dry on the touch. One tongue has a tear. The split pins unmessed with. Maker marked by hkp (former SE) and has a size 64 shell. Lot number 2110. A great untouched single decal Luftwaffe helmet!
