Beaufitul ligth worn army parade tunic ‘Waffenrock’ for a Oberfeldwebel of Pionier-Bataillion 34. Classic Waffenrock executed in high quality wool. All edges have black piping for a member of a pionier unit. Period applied insignia and Krim shield on the left sleeve. On the cuff of that same sleeve a Heeres Geräteverwaltungsunteroffizier (equipment administrations) trade badge is visible, surounded with sliver tresse for an expert. The tunic has a tailor label inside from Wilhelm Küstermann from Wünsdorf, Waldstrasse 7. I like the shoulder boards on this tunic because clearly they have been on this jacket before he got promoted. The removed embroidered black regimental cyphers are still partially visible under the metal regimental cyphers and starts. On the edge of each shoulder board a officer candidate stripe is present. A very nice and well preserved Pionier Waffenrock!
