Excellent large size German Wehrmacht winter trousers (Winterwendehose 43), reversible to white. Unissued piece with very bright camouflage ‘Sumpftarnmuster 44’-pattern colors. No maker marks can be found, but it’s interesting to see there are captured French army buttons used for the pockets, the same thing is pictured in ‘Winter Uniforms of the German Army’ by W. Palinckx on page 337. In my opinion this trousers is therfore also manufactured by the Belgian firm of E.Reitz in Antwerp/Merksem. The strap on the back of the trousers has come loose on one side but can be easly repaired. This is probably one of the better ‘Winterwendehose 43’ I have ever encountered and will look great on a late war ‘Battle of the Buldge’ display!
