Great looking M42 pattern army Feldbluse in good condition for a Sturmpioniere or Assult Pioneer. All the insignia are period machine applied on the jacket, the eagle is applied in ‘Zip&Flip-style’ on top and then stichted on the sides. This is a typical retailored German jacket, because the German soldiers all wanted to have ‘M36-looks’ on their jackets. Therefor the collar was period changed in a dark green M36 pattern one, later the collar tabs were moved back to apply the NCO tresse. The tunic has been resized aswel for a tighter ‘slim fit’ look. Next to the buttons there are two small holes but you can’t see this when it’s buttoned up. The tunic shows light wear and the texture of the cloth is still soft and supple. On the chest pocket 2 award loops are present. On the shoulders a pair of M36 pattern pioneer boards are present for the rank of Feldwebel. The two bottom stripes means he is an officer candidate. The inside lining is made out of typical German artifical silk in tan color, the jacket is nicely sized marked on an uncommon place. A very honest and untouched German feldbluse in realy good condition.
