Very nice early war produced M40 single decal army helmet. Decal and paint are both well preserved and could be rated as ‘very good condition’. The decal is a Pocher made one, and suits the maker of this helmet ‘NS’ (Vereinigte Deutsche nickelwerke / Schwerte). The liner is a reinforced alumium type, dated 1940 on the side, size 55. The split pins are all marked WWH41, the rear split pin is missing it’s washer but it all seems untouched and not tempored with, it never had a washer by the looks of it. Overal great looking helmet, also named with initials A.H. (I don’t think it’s Hitler’s helmet, but you never know). Marked on the side NS62 and D106 in the rear.
