Genuine early war constructed M34 pattern field cap (Overseas cap / Schiffchen) in worn condition with a certain amount of moth damages all over the cap. Nevetheless the cap remains in unmolested condition with its period applied national insigina up front. Around the nationale cocarde a lemon green Panzergrenadier soutache is still present and shows matching wear with the cap. Inside, the cap has a classic tan colored cotton 1940-style liner, maker marked by Carl Halfar dated 1940. Size marked 57. Interesting to see is that the cap also received an ‘updated’ RBNr. manufacturer marking, most likely because it was kept in stock untill 42/43. It was sized marked 57 again also. Great looking worn ‘Panzergrenadier’ M34 cap in battle worn condtion with a nice ‘salty’ look to it. Priced accordingly.
