Interesting early made M34 cap for an infantry officer. The cap is a typical private tailored made purchased item that has a leather officer quality sweatband and pink colored lining material. On the front a period hand sewn officer BeVo silver flatwire eagle is mounted and a national cocarde surounded by a white infantry piping. Size is approximatly 56. Very interesting officer cap in good condition, only a few small moth damages present. The color of the wool is typical pre-1940 green wool, what we see on M36 feldbluses. This cap is probably constructed in 1939-40 and would be perfect for an invasion ‘Blitzkrieg’ display.
