Nice untouched K98 ammunition pouch. Uncleaned example in good condition. Spacers are intact. Maker marked on the reverse by Koch & Benning and from the date only the ‘9’ remains, which makes me believe it was made in 1939. Interesting to see is that the pouch also is unit marked inside.
Complete K98 cleaning kit in very good condition. Maker marked on the lid by 64 which is the code for the factory of Gustav Appel, Maschinenfabrik. Missing the take-down and cleaning cloth, otherwise complete. Nice to see that the aluminum pull through chain is also maker marked with ’64’ and a Waffenamt.
The holster is actually just a P38 for the Walter gun but marked differently. The holster is in very good – almost perfect – condition and only shows light signs of wear. Nicely marked on the reverse ‘DLWP’ dated 1940, together with a slighty faded Waffenamt acceptance mark. Inside an ink marking P39(t) is placed.
Unissued textbook pair of tan colored MP38/40 magazine pouches. Both made by the CLG factory in 1943. One of the pouches still even has red pencil markings from the tailors who sewed it together. Both pouches are well marked on both belt loops. Hard to find a matching set like this, will look very pretty displayed on a mannequin!
